The Calva® Advantage Calf Milk Replacer line is explicitly designed for calves raised in the West and Southwest U.S. It provides the right blend of easily digestible, emulsified fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and essential oils to keep calves performing their best.
Calva® Advantage calf milk replacer fat and protein levels can be tailored for your farm.
Starting day 2 of life, feed 1.5-2.0 pounds dry matter per calf per day. If feeding exceeds 1.75 pounds per head per day, feed a 24% protein formulation.
Feed 3 quarts of Calva® Advantage calf milk replacer twice daily or 2 quarts, 2-3 times daily.
Feeding calves fresh, clean water along with a high-quality, palatable calf starter feed on a free-choice basis supports healthy growth. Only use low-sodium water (<50 ppm) when mixing and feeding calf milk replacer.
Mix calf milk replacer with 110-120°F water. Calf milk replacer should be 105°F when delivered to the calf. Always weigh calf milk replacer powder for proper mixing.
